Thank you for considering our cottage. We are not a rental company. We live here and come home as often as we can - no matter the season. We love this place, and you will too. 

Mother Moon is different than other lake cottages you may visit. You will notice right away, our cottage is not trying to sleep as many as possible. We want you to feel like you're at home. Mother Moon Cottage is perfect for an artist retreat, a couple's getaway, a friend or family vacation, or even just getting some alone time. It is immaculately kept but still cozy - simple but comfortable.

GET "UP NORTH" & JUMP IN A LAKE, EH!

We have an amazing view of the sunset, the dock is a prime fishing spot, and the sandy beach has a fire pit for relaxing and enjoying the stars. You may even get a glimpse of the Northern Lights! We get emotional every time we see them. You won't want to leave Mother Moon Lakefront Cottage, but if you do - Lake Huron is only 15 miles up 55, in-town is just up the road, and there are more hiking trails than you can get to in one visit. And we aren't bragging, but the air is just better Up North. You'll see!

- Private, sandy beach, private deck and private dock

- 2 bedrooms, both with luxurious queen beds; 2 couches (one sectional and one sleeper) 

- bi-level deck with fireplace and seating

- 15 miles to Lake Huron (Tawas); 20 miles to Lumberman's Monument; 17 miles to largo Springs; Close to hiking trails and atv/utv trails; half-mile to Lavere Rd public boat launch; three hops and a skip to the lake - just like we like it.
